Each year around springtime (long enough after new membership is accepted to the collective for them to be settled and able to jump in) Spiderforest puts on a collective cross promotion!  This is a wonderful way for fellow member comics to gain exposure from the group's readership and can vault a little known comic well into the spotlight!  This year we have eighteen (or it might be twenty now) volunteers to join the party!  So awesome!  So far these are the featured comics!

WEEK 1 - Comic of the week kicks off with War of Winds by Kez an Epic Fantasy story that spans worlds and time.  The main story revolves around a thief who ends up stealing an item worth much more than money.  He finds himself followed by many different factions all looking to wrest the Key from him, at the cost of his life.  Meanwhile the trinket seems to keep him from external harm, but at the same time is aging his body at an alarming rate.  It is a wonderful comic with an intricate and rich story and world.  You will not be disappointed if you read it!

WEEK 2 - The Only Half Saga by Tigershark06 (oh, yeah, yours truly).  This tale is an Urban Fantasy story set in a world that has been devastated by nuclear war.  The story revolves around the dhampir (half-vampire), Cabal, who seeks revenge on his father.  The vampire Renate wasn't always a vampire - stealing Carmen's gift of immortality and then abandoning her pregnant with a half-breed child that will never be accepted.  Cabal has spent the better part of 550 years tracking his father down - only to find that revenge isn't so easy to attain as he thought.

WEEK 3 - School Spirit by Dutch.  Do you remember when you were a kid and everything seemed magical and everything was possible?  Revisit that feeling with a group of Down Under elementary kids and their adventures including the spirit of a little girl, Wendy, they befriend from the nearby cemetery.

WEEK 4 - Cetiya by Mitsukaiten.  Welcome to NAMAST...an organization of "magic-users" who fight crime.  Pada is one of their best Adepts, but contains no memories of his own.  Nine is his handler and has too many memories for her comfort.  Together they make one of the most formidable teams NAMAST has.  A cyberpunk story that will stretch your imagination!  Give Mitsu some love!

WEEK 5- Dream*Scar by Hchano! Vix has known she was different for a long time, but a tragedy at her school outs her as an unhuman.  Not only is she an empath, she finds she is a dhampir - her father is the leader of the unhuman movement.  She finds herself in a world she is unprepared for...and one that is unprepared for her.

WEEK 6 -  "Keys" by Nicoli Gonnella. Relatively early in the storytelling and only a small archive to read through, this fantasy adventure follows Avery, a young man with a large mystery.  Found in the woods without a clue to how he got there, Avery must piece together his past.  A stunning and intricate style of art, Nicoli paints a grand picture and foreshadows powerful happenings centered around his main character.

WEEK 7 - Chirault by Varethane  Meet Kiran and Teeko, a most unlikely pair.  Both demons, they have very different circumstances for being in each other's company.  Kiran is a demon hunter whose past is shrouded in mystery and whose powers are frighteningly powerful and at times dangerous.  Teeko, shrunken to the size of a mouse by accidental magic exposure, seeks to find a wizard who can help return her to her true form.  Together they find themselves caught up in a mystery larger than both of them.

WEEK 8 - Twilight Lady The mysterious "Lady" is an entity who dwells in the subconscious of a mortal woman. When Jen sleeps the Lady awakens, meting out justice for souls wronged in life (and death). The link I am providing is for "Dance of the Indwellers" as it is a very good self contained storyline that doesn't require any foreknowledge of the previous story lines!

WEEK 9 - Spare Keys for Strange DoorsJoin Toby and Marion as they are hired to investigate paranormal happenings, possessions, and all around strange stuff.  Whether murdered golums, or Naids haunting a public swimming pool you'll love this title!!
